 Homemade carrot cake for today's customer order!! I think my carrot cake can easily be the best carrot cake in the world, I would like to find one that might come close to mine!!

I have spent the last couple of days getting things prepared for the penguin event. I had to kinda take their logo and put it on a background which will give some kind of 1950s American diner theme, pretty cool isnt it? So we have decided to the with the right hand one which is striped rather than the checkered one. I think it gives it more of an american feel? Its so exciting!! Only one week left now, will keep this blog posted... will upload some pics once my cakes arrive at the event.

So I had my first 'professional' meeting today... if you can call it that. It was for the Penguin Corporate Event. I wanted it so bad because I could finally get my name out there and everything! anyway, It turned out to be a success. The pictures are just a few of what I brought with me to the meeting. I was expecting it to be sooo formal but it was fun and the people were really nice! so Anyway, 15th of September for this gig so watch this space!! I shall keep you all posted. Oh, its so exciting!

The first cake party = SUCCESS!!! After slaving away for two days (averaging about 15 hours each day), I baked over 200 cupcakes, 8 cheescakes, 2 carrot cakes and 2 brownie cake!!!  Great turn out despite it being a bank holiday weekend, I was a little nervous and worried that people were not going to turn up. My cakes were all sold out in the end which was really great and assured me that I am doing the right thing!
